Like Ray said, the Versys is a great option too. Hell, does jrjoyce still have his WeeStrom for sale? He might even deliver it from Texas.

He had it listed in the flea market.

On a separate note, I just met an inmate who has a DL1000 and a Versys he might be interested in selling.

Not the same bike. I met inmate Bikerdude today. He bought some wheels from me. He mentioned off-hand that he'd like to sell his DL1000 and his Versys. He crossed into the Husky TR650 darkness and will never be going back.

:lol Is that why he got rid of such a great bike? Glad he found that pirate, cause I'm picking up the bike on Tuesday. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Is there any weekly pub crawls or anything in Fayetteville? I've got no idea where to ride in this area, needing to go do some exploring.

up a tag game involving / allowing hand offs. I game token would have to follow a set list of locations. Riders would be allowed to hand off the token to a fellow rider must have pic of the hand off. Think of the county tag game only 1 ride doesn't have to cover the whole state if they can coordinate a hand off. Thoughts? Token would be thishttp://

Great Ride

TW/IFF, Great ride today without a doubt! Lots of excitement and fun without any runaways! I know I got a lot of good experience riding on the easy lines. Looking forward to next season already.

Just got a magnetic tether switch from Ryan, which I will install this evening. I also found completely by accident the ignition mode switch. I don't see it in the manual, and no one ever mentioned it. But while changing gear box oil, I happened to look up and see the switch. An online search shows that position 2 was not helpful in trying to learn trials. I have it in position one now, which helps with low end torque and reduces high rpm power. Hope to have an easier time with it this weekend.

See you all on Sunday!

TW put on a good shindig. Good sections and it looked like RY on that new Sherco. Tony the Tiger looked pretty relaxed too. It was fun just free riding and spectating. Had to head home to feed granny. Been eating for 91 years now! A good day

Just had a buddy come over for a front tire change on his VTX1800. We noted the spacer on the left side of the front axle. After changing everything out, we got to putting it back together and something was amiss. Hey, no matter how we do this, a disc is going to rub metal, and the wheel slides side to side on the axle. A quick check of the before photos shows the spacer in the right spot. WTF? It won't work.

We pull up the Chilton manual and low and behold, there should be TWO spacers. Guess I just got another bike in my garage until stores open...
