No VXCS since I broke my ankle back in April. I was going to go to one of their races in September but I ended up getting a last minute project dumped on me from work so I needed all 3 of my brain cells focused on that. It happens. Maybe next year.

I'm sure trials is fun. I'm not ready to give up my dirt bike, though. I haven't come close to exhausting the fun factor out of that yet.
A hug from Penny,,,,,,man I can't catch a break. There was that HOT summer HS race where she helped a lady water her husband down each lap,but did not think ole' Boss might need a cooldown,,,,now she's hugging my competition after the races..Jeez..

I'll just wait a little while and buy yours when you upgrade.

Gotta demo for you to ride. Come on down and give it a go. You will definitely love the strategy involved with reading and riding sections.

Wish I had some video of Ryan Young on your old Berg. Jake rode over to watch the clinic. He was doing some crazy stuff on that thing. He rode a nose wheelie all the way across the pasture.

WOOOOoooooo!!!!!

Hate losing a "Brother", no matter what disipline he chooses to pursue!!!

On an up note, there will be an indoor flattrack race on Dec. 21 at the horse arena at the Farmers Market in the Lumberton area. More info on the Flattrack Racing in NC racing thread. It will be part of a double header that will be continued on Sunday the 22 at Tar Heel Speedway. Mike Hacker will also conduct a RIDE Academy both days.

03 ttr225

Hey Guys,
I picked up an 03 TTR225 off the lemon lot here on post. It's going to need some TLC, but I'm hoping to getting it ready for a Christmas present for my son. Are there any motorcycle graveyards around here to comb over for parts?

Ray,
It's going to need new fork seals, controls (leavers, front break system, kill switch/electric start button) plastic for the right side of the gas tank, rear fender, seat cover, fresh rubber, and perhaps a new front wheel. That's just from my initial estimate. The previous owner wrecked it pretty bad and it's been sitting for what sounded like close to a year. Once we get the controls/ignition sorted out we'll see if the engine needs work. P.O. claims it ran when well when he and it summersaulted down a ravine.

Before you throw parts at it you really need to make sure it runs. PM me. We can swap parts off mine to make sure the engine doesn't have issues.
