Thumb A great time!

A great day made even better by hanging with ICD and his buddy. Thanks!

The BMW fanboi was neither rally driver nor rally car owner

Next is the ICD and his friends truck working it out

The front and rear bumper facia was looking rally like, fenderwell folded and think a light loosened as well. I hope Bob got the padeye back to him

Good time in the woods Saturday!

Peter

WOW KTM 535 ISDE addition at Weaver Motorsports in Raleigh

I just there there this afternoon and saw this 2010 KTM Six Day 535 forsale. It's loaded with flex bars, rekluse clutch, pivot pegs, steering damper and i think every option KTM sells and it's titled. They haven't advertised it yet but it want last long. You can call Jason 919-801-0429 to go look at it, unless I find some extra cash then I'll go get it.

Lol......having only been in the are about 2 years, I was surprised at how many abandoned BMW's and Audi's and mustangs I saw littering weston pky that last big snow we had.....IMO if u want something thats gonna get terrible gas mileage, at least get something that has abilities or capicity to make the bad gas mileage less painful. Sure some of those cars are fast, but the thrill of acceleration is what bikes are for!

Trust me, it is not the car, it is the driver. I drove BMWs for 5 straight years in Germany. I lived at the top of the hill in my town and never had trouble getting up there nor did I have trouble getting to the top of the mountain to my work. Amazingly, none of the Germans did either and they were mostly in BMWs, Audis, and Opels.

Sent from the voices in my head and transcribed by their drinking buddy...

Back in the area...

I am back from a long trip, and looking forward to some great NC riding again. Heading up to the Blue Ridge next weekend. I know it is 'pre-season,' but I can't help it. Putting fresh knobbies on the Tenere, and heading out on some single track. I'll post some pics.

Cheers

Done with Daytona race...

The "Done with Daytona" race at Tar Heel Speedway is shaping up to be an event. Hundreds of flyers got passed out at the race in Savannah and Hacker, Coolbeth, the Averys and some others have been spreading them around Fla... Gates open around 1200 this Saturday with practice at 1500. Racing should get underway around 1800. 10 bucks general admission kids under 8 are free. There should be more than a few Vintage bikes there getting a look at the track before they come back in May for the AMA Vintage National and we are expecting a few National Pro/Expert numbers to stop in on their way home from Daytona.
We will have an Open MX class that's cool for knobbie tire bikes and Dual Sports bikes. Check with me and I'll point you in the direction of some trails to ride and where not to go... Too much water!!!

Ante up. I'm in the game. :) Even though it was built in a factory of dyslexics, kicker, chain, choke, gas valve - everything's on the wrong side.
