We're painting, mowing grass, wrangling snakes (?), repairing stuff and riding motorcycles as much as possible! We are located at the intersection on NC Hwy 20 and 87, look for the sign by the driveway to Richardson's Daycare, pull through the driveway and look for the gate against the woods. I may paint the gate yellow this week so it's easier to see from the road. If you're out riding around, stop in.
IT The Army plans on having me home next weekend... The Group psychologist has suggested I, "turn right to go left" as much as possible. (He said this helps with the "family reintegration process.")

Happy Easter Brother !

Greetings! I moved to Raleigh last July but really haven't been on this site much. Figured it was time to say hi to the locals.

Hi.

Tar Heel Speedway open practice

On the way out the door... Open Practice today at Tar Heel Speedway.
271 Victory Lane
Tar Heel, NC 28392

At the intersection of NC Hwy 20 and NC Hwy 87, behind Richardson's Daycare.

The track should be ready by 1200 and there are some "wood trails" to ride. Our main focus today is going to be some "first time dirttrack racers" and new youth riders. We will work on "race procedures" (gridding, flags, lights, etc.) and some riding techniques. In between all the activity there will be some grass mowing going on.... This is an informal training period to prepare some new riders for the SEMDTRA event this Saturday "On The Dirttrack at Busco Beach".

Rick,

One day I will make it out to the track if I can ever get my work schedule to ease up.

Coworker is fixing up a katana 650 and needs some carb work done. Anyone know a good shop in town? It runs sounds like it just needs a good cleaning.

Well that was an interesting ride into work today. I actually had to detour due to a flooded road. It was raining so hard that I almost didn't notice that it was flooded. It looked like a puddle until I was about 20yds away.

If you can forge a creek a little water pn the road can't hurt.
