Welcome to the area man... Check out the triangle tag game thread for more raleigh area folks... I'm in Wake Forest, with a busted KTM 450 xcf.....

Living near Henderson, you'll be right at NCMP, for track/trail riding.. I have some easy trails all around my house too.

Dave Jensen , Dave of Combustion Cycles, has a good reputation among the folks I know as a stand up, honest work kind of guy. Has worked on many many different things over the years.

I'll third it. Dave is a good mechanic and a nice guy.

If you were closer to Garner/Fuquay I'd suggest Jeb at Tapped Out Cycles. They have experience with the KTMs. I think his friend/fellow wrench races/used to race them.

Race? I'm so slow, I can't even win a slow race.

2 Day Trials Event

We need checkers/scorers for Sunday if any of you local guys are interested. Checking is a great way to learn about Trials. Probably take about 4 -5 hours of your time, and you'll get to see all 5 classes ride your section. Can email scoring rules to anyone that might be interested.

If you don't want to check, come on out and watch either day. As the flyer sez, going to have 2 AMA National Champions competing.

[QUOTE=Tarheel Wheeler;24224328]

We're doing an open practice pretty much all this weekend and Monday. SEMDTRA (South East Motorcycle Dirt Track Racing Assoc.) comes to Tar Heel Speedway on the 31st and round 2 of Tar Heels points series will be on June 14th. I could be down for Saturday at your place. It would be nice to be at a motorcycle event and not have to be in charge of everything. I might could do the checking thing. Send me some info on what's involved.

Hey, is there a class for a 1973 Alpina?
