Wearing riding pants/boots, or jeans/etc?

How long to recovery?

Had most of the right gear on. True MX boots might have helped. Probably 6-8 weeks total recovery time ( I'm getting old ).

Sorry bout the breakage. Hope you have a quick and uneventful recovery. I went today but the Jeep broke before I even aired down the tires

Damn, sorry to hear it, but here's hoping for a quick recovery. Couldn't ride for a month (still have a recovering foot), and it sucked, now screwed my leg, although hopefully only 'downtime' of 2 weeks there.

Wow, is there really no 'ride' smiley here..eek! pretend I put one ...here... :-)

Strange thing is it's unbelievably swollen but doesn't hurt all that bad. But that demerol still sounds good

Yall gotta hear this,Ron calls yesterday morning to make riding plans,[we have never met by the way]he says he knows this great trail that links the small town of Maxton to Lumberton. We set a time and meeting place. Now I have lived and worked around Maxton my whole life and never heard of this trail. We meet at Hardees and he says come on I'll show you the trail head.He stops at the entrance to a cotton field and says here it is!.........Ron has been trespassing in a field of cotton that I planted! ...I could'nt believe that I have been working that land for 27years and did not know of that trail!Ron is a great guy to ride with, and I would like to thank him for the ride yesterday. We had a good afternoon of riding and broke nothing at all![Get well soon Dan]...................
