lol, I remember that day. Lost in 1 acre of woods. I thought we might have to strike up a fire and hunker down for the night until we were found. If memory serves, I'd ridden with you before, but that was the first time I rode with Thumper, and also the first time we rode with TW. All thanks to this thread right here, bringing us together. And the "Outback" was just a twinkle in your eye. Good times.

I'm down with the hammer thing...a 6 week battle of wills between me and a mx 360 flywheel (that stood between me and a left side crank seal) ended today with a sharp hammer blow to a homemade flywheel puller that was a part of like 'plan zz' on the removal of the flywheel without destroying something BIG!!! I fully expect to be doing a wheelie through the bus parking lot by lunch time tomorrow

Hammertime

Hard to think of anything that the right hammer applied at the right time/place won't solve.

Well lets see there. NB you are the only that still rides the bike in the pic..

TT's DR350 is long gone and so is TW's XRL. NCTB's DR650 never makes it in pics any more since he rides the EXC all the time.

Memories. a sign we are getting old.

Bluhduh growing older, not up

Bike changes mean nothing other than, some folks are finding equipment that suits their style, where in the beginning you rode what you could get your hands on, because you either didn't know what you wanted, or your skill level had not exceeded the capability of the motorcycle currently owned, therefore I own/ride nothing newer than 1978...

...except for this '91 xr600r Honda...I'm like a dog that caught the car he was chasin'...I ain't real sure just what to do with it??? wanna' trade??? something??? anything???

I need a CB 750 1969-1979

If you run across one.

I want to build a chop for a friend here in Raleigh. He wants a CB750 engine in it with a springer and a hardtail.

I need a good clear title and preferably a POS that we can cut up and not feel bad doing so.

1969-1979 only

Something a little wilder than this Triumph I did last year.
