A52 today

hey everybody.....

Good time today. Good to see everybody and especially LURCH at just the right time. Aside from riding, he is a frickin gardener and can pull saplings from rotors with his bare hands.

HEY, BRAKES...

Whatca' reckon?

Got to where I didn't think much of "the fastest man in the world"...It will be interesting to see what "Bubba" becomes under the leadership of "The Coach" as led by JESUS. Don't fool yourself...it ain't ever about the motorcycles...or racecars for that matter...

James Stewart Joins JGR! | Joe Gibbs Racing
joegibbsracing.com James “Bubba” Stewart has signed a multi-year contract to race with the motocross division of Joe Gibbs Racing, JGRMX. Additionally, JGRMX has extended its relationship with Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. racing exclusively Yamaha motorcycles through 2014.

Thanks for the pics Tim .The riding today was a hoot!We had 12 or so bikes in a train with Lurch back in place as "Heavy Sweep".More food than we could eat, good dirt, little dust, and great folks.[We missed ya Rick].

Learned today that the place is under new management.A retired SF dude that does some of the special training stuff for military and civi's has taken over.I liked what he told me of his plans for the near future. He wants to add some non-riding activities to broaden the appeal to all family members.I think he is working over there all week to do some mowing and stuff.Should all be for the better.Oh yea, there now is a yearly pass available for 180 bucks.A great deal for most of us!

PLUMBIN'FOOL,did you have a good time today?Glad you brought the 76' YZ for us to drool over!

I am starting to get fond feelings for it

I think it runs great.

At the end of the day, I don't t seem as beat up as I am when riding the 4 stroke with the stiffer suspension. I am getting the feel of it a bit and was having some fun sliding it around out there. That sapling made me do an unplanned stoppie though!!!!!

I just figured out the number plate for it 62.

I think it takes a fully equipped NASCAR shop to custom build a rear shock to make the Yamaha work.

Seriously, though, I think JS has always done better under a factory-like tent, i.e., he needs to *not* be his own boss. The strictly regimented program from JGR might be just what the doctor ordered for JS to stay focused, get rid of the diversions, and ride to his potential. I am optimistic, we will see.

Besides, I think they want him for NASCAR.
