Husaberg FE400

Hi guys

I own a 97 Bergie FE400. Having done several national rally-raids in the beginning, she's had quite a rest in these 10 years as it was put aside gaining dust.

A couple of months ago decided to remember old times and restart my riding. Bike's fine just needing some plastic TLC . I've been searching the web for some parts and although fairly easy to find spares and extras for 2000 and upwards Husabergs, older ones seem to have fallen to oblivion

Thing is, I want to get more mileage (or kilometres here ) not having to stop every five or six hours! Plus I'd like to use it in a more "adventure way" needing more front light etc. Questions:

Is there any kind of bigger tank for my bike?

I've seen a double headlight in a DR in this forum. Where can I get similar ones? With or without plastic fairing.

Any kind of special instrumentation you advise?

To finish here she is

Thanks to you all

She's a beauty for sure. I can't answer your questions but if you don't get much input here, check out http://www.husaberg.org/ , looks like the place to be w/r2 the berg's.

has some great instruments, lighting too. they are in the NW USA, not sure if you could find anything closer or not. they dont weight much for the instruments so shipping should be cheap. but your using euros, which are worth way more the the crap US $

finding hus' specific tank might be a bitch. maybe something else might fit? someone makes auxilry side tanks for WR/KTM, i cant remember who.

bajadesigns.com has lighting stuff.

Portugal? fun place, nice country, visited in 99' , i need to go back.
