G 650 X bike - Battery holder

I picked up my 650 X country back on the first - will post some pics - i've added a Cee Baily Windshield, Hepco-Becker Bags, Zumo 550, BMW tank bag. Touratech folding break lever. Still need to install a few things. In the process of wiring the Zumo I had to pull the battery. There's an "rubber/elastic" band that is supposed to hold the battery in - by the time I fought the darn thing out (cables are so short that it's amost impossible to rotate the battery to get to the Negative which of course should be disconnected first - they really should have put the negative on the outside so you could slide it part way out then disconnect the neg before pulling the battery the rest of the way.

Anyway - somewhere in the process - once side of the rubber band came loose and I have no idea where it was connected. If anyone has pulled there battery on one of the G 650 X bikes and knows where the ends connect I could really use a hand.
