Just wondering if anyone here has added a fan to a '93 650R? If so what did you use. Dont feel like spending the 270$ for the OEM fan assembly.
Thanks pyro_ |

Selling my klx 650R
1996 klx 650R
It's been converted to street legal. Runs great, but there is some start up smoke from the valve seals. It has great compression. Has brand new tires, plus two extra rear tires, 1 extra front. New chain, sprockets. K&N air filter. Supertrapp muffler. Acerbis tank. Recovered black seat. Looks cool, runs/rides great. I've been using it to commute back and forth to school. Asking $1500 obo Also have it listed in the Flea Market I live in central indiana. jmemmert@purdue.edu 1-765-376-6313 jmemmert screwed with this post 05-01-2007 at 09:37 AM |

Correction though, My son bought this with his cash .The KLX Seems to be a real solid ride. He sorting out an issue with the Fan, but otherwise he is Estatic. |

Nice!!! The screen looks good too. What is it?
BTW, those tool logs always scare me. Seems like an obstruction. Maybe it's immune, but something about it just feels unnatural.

Got my 5 gal tank this week. Just got it put on. Very impressed with Acerbis. Nice tank and everything mounted up just perfectly. Easy job and looks like it came on the bike to begin with. Didnt have to adjust or move anything for fit. Nice going MACK
I thank you very BIG..Now off to find me some front springs Hayden |

New Springs
Hayden,
I found a set of KX250 springs on TT that fit my 95C for $20. Look on ebay or TT for a set. There's a set of blue forks on ebay now. The set I bought were from a 94 (other years may work too) that was being parted out (they are described as "blue" usd forks). Took a little doing to get them in, but what a difference. I go about 240 lbs and therefore I am the dampening. No more front end diving when I brake. Pete |
