In the middle of the great divide basin in Wyoming. Deserted place called Picket Lake. Didn't see another soul the entire time.
Best camping night EVER!

Question Stupid Question Here

Why do so many folks carry wood on the back of their bikes?

I'm thinking if you were out camping one could go out and scavage some fire wood.

Quite a few campgrounds prohibit scavenged wood... also heavier used campgrounds won't have any wood laying around.

Thanks

I knew it would be something like that. Thanks. Notice that half the forrest in the southwest burns down every summer. If they would let folks pick up the dead wood and burn it in a camp fire mabey that would help prevent brush fires. I hav'nt done any camping on my new bike or any camping for years.

I'll bet if I go out in the woods and fart some game warden will throw me in jail with my luck.

Hehehe...not the pyramid you have in mind. Just a triangular roof of one of the very few "motels" around the island.

The bike's about 30 metres to camera left, the hammock about as far behind.
