About half way between High Island and Sabine Pass Texas:
![]() On this trip I met a surf fisherman that built this air canon to launch his bait. He froze the bait, leader, weights, and hooks in a PVC pipe. Then loaded the frozen projectile in the air canon. The compressor and generator are on the trailer. He claimed a 500 yard range. But I noticed the reel he was using was only held 300 yards:
