Quick Note: I just got a call from Southwest Airlines. They have my luggage in Columbus (I called them yesterday) and it's to be delivered to my office tomorrow.
Better late than never, I guess.

Nice report, Dan.

I'm also pasting some of the big words you've been using over to a Word doc...for later study.

Insurance claim would have been better...maybe.

That was really a part of the plan, Ian. I never intended for this to be a blitzkrieg tour to see how many miles I could pile up. I wanted it to be at a sane pace that allowed plenty of time for reflection and smelling those roses.
As it turned out, it was dead solid perfect.

Well, hell. Apples and sausages are practically what I live for!

I'm quite certain Rider got the guidance he needed from the little red guidebook.

to be more specific, the Corralitos Smoke House makes applewood smoked country style sausages. Yes, their breakfast links have apple in them too. I find most of them a bit too salty for my tastes, and actually prefer the sausages from another local smokehouse a couple miles away, the Freedom Meat Locker (also applewood smoked).

but its all good.

oh, this is in the south end of the Peoples Republic of Santa Cruz.

Most excellent Dan !

I can't wait to see the next installment.

Sounds like you needed to air it out a little.

Welcome to the west coast Dan!

Great ride report. Nice to hear Jackson and clan showed some hospitality in Corvallis!

Originally posted - here, but 205'd fer Da' King.

Of course g-pup is first on the scene to welcome our beloved Rider to The Gravity Pad.

Welcome brudda Dan!

gravitot was obviously thrilled to meet brudda Dan.

Typical Gravity lazy afternoon - everyone grab a pup and listen to stories of the road.

Dan pulled off a never-before seen feat... he put all the Gravitys to sleep.

g-pup had a few treats fer The King and couldn't wait to spring them on him.

First, g-pup gifted his favorite raindog hat.

'Cause dats how Gravitys roll.

Speaking of rolling, g-pup insisted Rider prove himself worthy of his screen name on the dreaded Thumpty Dumpty. (Note knary quivering with fear...)

Dan didn't drop her...

but he got lost twice.

Once g-pup was done messin' with brudda Rider, it was off to get The King set up in his luxury penthouse suite at the Ye Ol' Towne Roach House. While Rider fielded bike questions from one of the yocals, I helped unpack.

Then it was back to the G-Pad where we found the nerdfest in full swing.

And off to get some foodies.

g-pupette - Hey Dad, this dood know's I'm not an appetizer, right?

After dinner we put the more gentile Gravity's to bed, piled in the FJ, and bailed downtown for an evening of serious ADVtalk.

Rollin' with the homlies...

Leopard bike??

The rest of the evening was pretty much Rider trying to explain the finer points of appropriate Jo Momma participation to a bewildered knary.

Foogin' artist types.

Funny... I don't remember so much neon when we finally left.

And I don't remember this dood at all... unless it's knary, but I don't think so.

Fortunately Rider's room was just around the corner. He let us borrow some shampoo. At least he told us it was shampoo. We believed him 'cause that's what was written on the bottle, tt burned when I got it in my eyes, and The King would never tell a lie.

Ride on, brudda Dan. Ride on.

Jackson

PS - kbossy.
