...I really like the look of this bike....sans the brake light, turn signals and mirrors. ...I'd also mount drums up front. ...wear that big license plate on the back of my jacket.

It's finished! (well amost)

Hi all.
Here's my new ride. Just finished it after about 2yrs of weekends.
It started life as a 1981 R100RS.

your bike is the new wallpaper on my desktop! Looks amazing. Did you do the wheels yourself? I am about to paint my own wheels andI hope they turn out that well. Beautiful bike, a lot of work went into the details it looks like.

Thanks for your comments tathambe. Wheels are powdercoated black. Yes, as the project progressed, I became posessed with the detail devil and ended up making my own tripple clamps & clipons, rear sets, mufflers etc. I had never intended to make all that stuff, it just happened! (true love ).

Caddy82, I made the indicator brackets along with the headlamp and instruments bracket to lower all that stuff up front by 70mm to accomodate the clipons and have the bike's lines flow nicely.

Knary, I'm in Melbourne. Some of those shots were taken in Williamstown.

Even has specially made covers to go on the swingarm axle.... (Iknow it may not be called that, but Im not sure what it is, and you get the idea).
