I believe that the rotors from an '87 Suzuki GSXR 750/1100 have the same bolt pattern as an Airhead spoked wheel. I've seen the conversions somewhere before.

First GSXR 1100 and 750 were with those anti dive if I remember well
Disc could be GSXF 750 (more drilled than GSXR)

BMW Cafe Bike (on ebay)

This thing is for sale on ebay right now for $14,000, without a doubt the workmanship and engineering is second to none, but I just got to say...the color scheme is definitely Gay!.....for a cafe racer it's just way too pretty.

^^that's seriously ugly...I'd love to have those Ohlin's and the front brakes though.

What makes that thing worth $14,000?

He probably spent that much or more building it, the oil pan is worth $500

Agreed. Too clean by far. A proper cafe machine should have the same feel about it as a junk yard dog. That ones more like a pampered poodle.

Actually, those oil pans are going for $800 right now and thats a lot of $$$ just to keep the oil in but on the other hand, it's the paint job thats holding the bike back. If it was solid red, black and silver or some other manly combo, you guys would be all over it.

Theres a lot of work thats been put into that bike (What a nice engine that must be!) and I'm sure that the original owner wrote a pile of fat checks!

Sorry about the paint though....

That looks to be another Perry Bushong custom. He's built some outstanding /2 rennsport style customs. I've seen his other /5 & /7 creations sell for well over 9k on ebay. The color is not to my liking, but his craftsman ship is top notch.

Also, on page 22 of this thread, is the red /5 cafe he crafted. A dead giveaway of his work is the 'skirting' he adds to the seat upholstery, which hides the subframe.

It was for sure headed in the right direction till he had his wife pic out the color scheme.
