Was stationed in Germany for 2 years before I got out last summer. Best time ever. Food was amazing. I do miss the donars... Just wish my job while I was there afforded me a LOT more time to explore the amazing place.

This is crushed broad beans mixed with olive oil, cress seed, parsley, onions and lemon. Delicious



The one on the left is chicory and chard seed served with yogurt and garlic served on top. The one on the right is salicornia (collected from seashores) served with garlic on top. Very useful stuff for the body.

Taken during a daily trip this Sunday.

I think salicornia is called samphire in the UK.

Now that's breakfast!!! I had a "full" English breakfast at the entrance to Petticoat Market in London last Sunday. It was quite lacking. I need to find some damn black pudding fast. I have been jonsing for that for two years. To make the above perfect for me, I would need a scrambled egg
