advice on buying 95 enfield bullet with 599 miles

i was wondering about buying a 95 enfield bullet with about 600 miles on it. It sat someone garage for years. someone bought it off the original owner and now is trying to flip it.

My concern about it are a) between 95 and 99 they weren't high quality from what I ve read. b) The guys seem to want to much. 3500.00.

any advice would be great appreciated.

There is a 2008 for sale here locally, for like 3900 with 500 miles on it. New in every way. And I dont think it's selling.

I rode a brand new one, as I thought they were the coolest thing I ever saw. I hated the ride. Seemed loose and shakey. It was just not for me.

I have a KLR, and love it. I want a URAL now too.... those might be loose and shakey, but people embrace it on those!

I don't think it is good for bikes to sit around for 15 years without being ridden! Regardless of what condition it was in in '95, I think that if bikes sit around that long, seals start to go bad, etc.
