The racks were on my 640 when I got it. They are pretty simple in set-up and conctruction. Dirt Bagz is the brand. I didn't use the panniers, but used RJays bags. Cheap and have not let me down as yet. The pannier frame cracked and eventually snapped clean off where it bolts to the left pillion footpeg mount. The pannier frame is a tube that has been sqaushed to flat and then a hole drilled to use a s a mounting point. basic and not good enough in the long term as is evidenced by mine breaking.

Cheers,

Grant

Great thanks Pezz. Fantastic weekend at the Island. Great Ocean Road is beautiful. Murray River is dead looking and very dry.

Cheers,

Grant

Rallye Bashplate

Been working on templates to make it easier build .Main plate extends across to form the front of the boxes . Main plate 5mm boxes 3mm all inside welding with mig (cheaper) all out side welding with tig (looks cool) all alloy 5083 grade.Price adout $550 to $600 at most. Wont know exact price untill I make one but the more we make in one go the better and if it works out cheeper then it will be cheaper. Please let me know.
If we get enough I can make a jig and punch the with a 100 tone press that means faster production and cheaper.
Thanks
KTMatt

Tooled up

I'm assuming the left hand box is for 7.62 link, and the right for 5.56

I' think if you want cooling and drainage hole's drill them ourselves.

Same goes for fitting bump stops, but Matt might have that covered on his with the rubber strips on the sides.

Question

How different are these from your prototype version? Got any pics if they are?
