Someone has a mishap and you won't use them again? If I did that, I wouldn't be flying most airlines.

I haven't come across any organized touring company that has tours of Corsica (I wonder why), so you'll have to do it on your own. Not an issue, besides a self guided tour is far more enjoyable in the first place, and a lot cheaper as well.

True, and it would be a pleasure for me to answer any raising question on the subject! But basically , just purchase a ticket (Ferry or flight) once you are here you will find everything a traveller may need

We've been there in 2004 - bikers paradise, but skip the tourist heat, the roads are full.
When planning a Europe trip, put Corsica on your gps.

Did Corsica for 10 days in 2003. The very best ride of all time! Will put a smile on the face of the most bored rider! Rated as the top 10 motorcycle best rides in "France" by far

where do you usually camp? Indoors? :)

In the 80s, you pretty much could set up a tent anywhere you wanted as long as it wasn't in the middle of some private property. I camped in the dunes and on grass patches next to train stations. Keep a low profile and nobody will bother you. Best place I ever camped near a road was right on top of Col de Bavella - and I mean ON TOP - amazing view, perfect weather.

When I say outdoors I mean out of an organised place made only for camping with baths , restaurant etc....

Here in Greece , you are not allowed to camp everywhere espesially in summer season and near beatches . Up high in the mountais is an other story .

Every time I see a new post here, I travel back in time and remember all the great places I've been and moments I lived in Corsica. I just hope that one day, I'll be able to visit that island again
