Talking

Well this certainly raises the bar for ride reports .... and its just getting started! Can't wait for more.

However. It is just wrong to talk about a two foot trout and not show a picture of same. tsk tsk tsk

Great report and pics, I guess it'll be a little cold up that way in a couple of weeks, I guess I'll have to wait till next year.
Duane, thanks for the carbs, the wife loves the bike now.

Brother Dan: Normal for you maybe . It always warmed up nicely though by 10am. We hit very wide temp ranges during this trip. But as you will see later on we go south into the Oywahees where it was 95 !
The Owhyee's are my backyard!!! Looking forward to the report! Great job so far!

OK, regarding the trout. Yes you will see pictures of them soon enough. We have a lot of miles to cover remember ! We have excellent shots of them and a good story to go with it.

Next, I have the entire route on a Mapsource file. This route is really something in whole or part. It is a big loop that starts and ends in Missoula.

and lastly, we have the 908's mounted on the 950's stern and 606's on the bow. The performed great and showed the least wear over the overs (Karroos & TKC's).

More pictures and story to come. Its a job sifting through photos, but we'll be back.

p.s., great ride report. Fantastic photos. How often did you fellows take the gear off your bikes and just play in the woods?

SO Jealous!

later, barry

Doc, yes they were great. We liked them and were glad we had them mounted. We had time to stop and smell the pines so to speak. We averaged around 150 mile per day, sometimes more, some less. Never a rushed pace. We stopped on the Custer Motorway one day and relaxed by a creek. Youll see photos of that soon with trout !

Most excellent report ... More Please!

I like this:

"told us it would take us 4 hours to reach Elk City and they just came from there.........we made it in 1."

Gives NJ guys a good rep .

Thanks for sharing.
