A picture is worth a thousand words

Note that the front tire is sort of blurry, that's because the bike is still moving and cornering just fine even though i "got off" way to the left.

btw the only damage to the bike was a scratced valvecover!

Wow...cool picture. Glad to hear neither you or your bike were seriously damaged. Was that during some open track time?

I'm a coach for the Swedish equivalent of the AMA.
I was trying to show one of the students how different turnpoints affect the exit. Obviously when you turn extremely late you might end up turning in the marbles, losing the front, falling off and then having the wheels regain traction and the bike completing the turn without you...

VERY embarrassing to have an off when you're there as a coach and of course it had to be on the last turn right next to the pits...

I've heard of "putting your all" into teaching, but this is ridiculous!

Glad you and the bike are okay.

You were supposed to jump up, turn around to the students and yell to them, while pointing your finger at the bike, "That was lesson one on how not to park your motorcycle."

"Take five everyone, smoke 'em if you got 'em!"
