A picture is worth a thousand words
Note that the front tire is sort of blurry, that's because the bike is still moving and cornering just fine even though i "got off" way to the left.

I'm a coach for the Swedish equivalent of the AMA.
I was trying to show one of the students how different turnpoints affect the exit. Obviously when you turn extremely late you might end up turning in the marbles, losing the front, falling off and then having the wheels regain traction and the bike completing the turn without you... VERY embarrassing to have an off when you're there as a coach and of course it had to be on the last turn right next to the pits... |
