need help (seat alignment) R100RT

Dear Americans, Adventures and Airheads.....The 3 AAA's
I have been trying without success properly install my seat....
i changed the hard wear (hinges and bolts) i did straight the sub frame and still not working properly.
Do anyone here know a trick to make it work as it should?

You dont have to open & close the seat to align it. Take the (R) side cover off, then with the hinge's loosely fitted wriggle them onto the hinge post's. push the seat down so it fasten's on the catch, then get down on floor and look up (where the side cover was) and you will see the seat bolt's. Just tighten them almost snug, then get up and eye the seat central, then get down and really snug them bolt's up.

I tried to replace my kick start cotter pin with a pushbike cotter pin as they only cost a dollar - did not fit. If I had a lathe I could make one up - any cheap alternatives?

When the GS is on the centerstand and in gear, how much radial movement is "normal" if I try to spin the rear wheel?
