Kamloops BC...a verry HOT summer

This was the start. From a discarded cigarett on the side of the road...smokers should DIE

Below you can see another fire about 30km in the back(from a discarded cigarett of a fello cleaning up his back yard pine needles on the edge of the forrest) and there was another one about 15km to the left of that one. In addition there was yet another big one about 20km to the right of this one...we were surrounded that year. Spent the whole summer indors

One beautiful sunny day in Maine, with this big black cloud in my way! It dumped a bunch or rain in just a few moments

This one was a winter ride last year, this was going down the road to my house, it had been sunny all day, but as I pulled in the driveway it started to pour and then snow.
who the hell am I?

the sky turned ugly, then turned bad! lots of rain, then wind, then more wind, then lot of wind, then holy crap its the wind of death from god type wind!

went to the backyard and saw this!

oh no, my precious garage!!!

heard a huge crack, the lights went out. then went out the front and saw this across the road, the tree took out the powerlines as it went down. as you can see them coming down onto the road behind the fat guy.

of course i went and had a closer look, as good neighbors do.

yep, there is another little car under that mess, as well as the blue one you can see.

The same tree, destroyed trailer, and pergola.

camera died after that shot, after batteries recharged, went over to neighbors house to help with the cleanup, turned around and saw this 2 houses down on my side of the street.

the branch in their bedroom fell about 20mtrs from the tree to the right of the shot
not a bad damage bill, in one small street in the period of about 5 mins! exploring the folowing day, it was opbvious we wernt the only ones hit, at laest 1 house in every street was damaged or destroyed by fallen trees.

power was out for 5 days....
Treat your bike like your woman, rider her 5 times a day and take her to heaven and back.

I took these pictures with my cell phone around the office that I work in. We were hit with a couple F2 tornadoes the night of 3/12. My office is just to the left in this picture in the background.

This next picture is from the other side of the office. Our office survived with just some roof damage and a flooded basement.

The worst part was 1 week to the day later we had a blizzard, if you want to call it that. 8" of snow. Then one month later to the day and hour we had another round of tornadoes. Some of my coworkers were without power 10 days after the first round.

The first tornado went by about a mile south of where I lived and we lost a tree. I went outside and looked east, the lightning flashed and there was the funnel. Pretty cool. The second one, the neighbor lost his pole barn. It was an exciting spring!

The yellow cast is due to a dust storm which later intensified reducing visibility to less than 20 yards. The yellow and orange cast are accurate colors for the photos due to the sand in the air. The guys we busted in these photos had been firing mortars at us for a couple of days.

Come to the darkside, we have cookies.

"Make sure you got clean underwear," Mom always said. I always figured that'd be the least of my worries, but now I'm older, I see there's a lot you can't control and some you can control and clean underwear is one of those you can...for the most part.

We were heading from Mont St Michel (Normandy) to Perroz-Guirec (Brittany) when the sky started to look a bit threatening.

Then we spotted a roadside coffee shop.

We got ourselves installed under their canopy just in time and sat it out.

We stopped to plot our route before the storm hit. Rain gear tops already on. Pants got donned a few minutes later. We had just crossed US-50 on our way to Jaunita Hot Springs, Colorado, USA.

Storm brewing:

[A different angle of the photo above.]

Late July, About 10 a.m., north of Cripple Creek, Colorado ... the roads turned wet, the air turned cold ... pretty soon the sides of the road were white.

Full trip report.
