Dude...let it go
Crankshaft...what kind of seat are you having done? I've heard great things about the work they've done on the KTM seats. ![]() It seems I am also an asshole and pissed off Slide by calling him "Dude". In the spirit of keeping this thread friendly and informative, I publicly apologize and retract my statement. Slide is not a dude. Oni screwed with this post 08-18-2007 at 10:57 AM |

Congrats on the new bike.
Might I suggest the first mod you do be a set of bark buster type guards. Acerbis and Cycra seem to be poplular with the group here. I have Cycra Pro Bend myself...saved my levers at least once so far. watch the rear fender too. Lot of weight back there and the fender snaps off. I got a replacement one, was going to put my TT fender back on but took the stock one apart and threw a bunch of unneeded crap away. It's a bunch lighter now. Probably still put my TT one on...was just to lazy to rig up the turn signals last weekend. |

I like the decals!
Anyway, I took the plunge guys, I'm going to participate in the 2008 Eastern Europe Rally. Signed up tonight. I decided right at the same time I want to have full fairing and a rear side fuel tank on the Xchallenge by then. I want the next fairing on my bike. It's light, offers just enough protection and I like the simplicity. It's being made by an enthousiast over here as a "universal" rally fairing. It's made as a rough, unfinished fairing, that you make fit to your bike yourself. ![]() ![]() 9 months to go!! |

![]() I'll probably get black suede and just keep it simple. I'm not a big farkle guy, but the Renazco is essential.

Of course I'll keep you all posted on the progress. (as if I needed encouraging in posting the mods I try tpo make?)
I already found a guy who will help me building a subframe for the roadbook, IMO, headlamp and the fairing of course. So that's a first step. Wish me good luck in Spain first. (only six weeks to go)
