Thanks for the photo's, there's some interesting stuff there.
The new GS800 looks good. I guess we'll have to wait and see. In this month's Bike magazine they have printed pictures of 4 new "G650" machines that are based on a BMW single cylinder engine. If you can get anymore pics I'd be very interested. It's our bike show at the end of the month. Thanks for posting and sharing. Mark

I'll try an get around to get some more pics but it will be hard to get away from my booth for any length of time. BMW has the largest booth at the show complete with a stage, sound system, light show, fog machine, singers and bleachers.

Holy Shit, I'm freakin' drooling over those Hondas!
I'll take any of them!!!!! But what's the last one? Is that the new XR650? Will that replace the current US bike? All I can say to American Honda, if they don't bring these bikes here, is...

"American Honda? Wake up!"
They have!! There's yet another version of the VTX 1800 coming out next year.. How many friggin versions of that cruiser have they put out now? 5 or 6? yet, they continue to ignore the TransAlp and the Varadero and is the Africa Twin still in production, it looks like it.. So they have at least 2 if not 3 bikes that they can bring here instead yet another variation of the same fugly cruiser..

The XRV750 Africa Twin. They've been available in Europe and Asia for ages, just not here. Dammit!

That 990 Avalanche looks really frickin' sweet, but what, uh, is it?

wow that last XR looks horrible. Reminds me of the doublecheap types of bikes everyone rides in Mexico. Those forks are about the width of my thumb.
Gotta say the HP2 and 999 were pretty cool though. |

Suddenly saw your note and could not stop laughing. I have never ridden an XR650 and it probably rides really good as I have read excellent reviews about them... but I think it's fair to bring up the fact that their design department needs some orientation on looks and materials. Gabriel |

2007 Varadero
And the all new Varadero for 2007 is........................... exactly like the old one apart from a few engine emission tweaks and new colours. The rumours that this was going to be a ground up new bike with a 1200 v twin, much less weight and better components to compete with 990 Adv/GS 1200 are clearly very wide of the mark.
