Good days and bad days.

I ride very regularly and find that some days the bike glides through corners with pinpoint accuracy. It is finely balanced at every stop and start and the bike and I do not make the slightest error. On these days, I feel that I am completely in tune with bike.

Every now and then, I am just an ordinary rider. I constantly seek fine balance and make small errors on cornering lines.
Does this happen to everyone? Can you suggest some causes?
By the way, I don't drink so it's not the amber fluid.

I'm ordinary all the time. Tho sometimes I do feel more "in the groove". I figure it's tons of factors comming together. Tired/awake, hungry, thirsty, sun, confidence, aches, all sorts of stuff.

Motorcycle Consumer News did a good writeup on this concept in a series about "The Zone". Might be worth getting copies of the back issues.

yep I does happen to all
so If you take up the amber fluid you will have the same excuse as the rest of us

yep, happens here. like golf and skiing, some days ya got it, some days ya don't.

I could feel it wasn't right. However, had I known about the beer in his side cases

Haynes, I'm not really a go-faster, but I do enjoy the twisties. As far as "off days" I'm probably more like 50/50. There are some days that I'm just not in synch, and I try to be cognizant of it from the get-go. I ride for fun, and it doesn't make any sense to get myself hurt. If I don't feel "with it" I back off and don't push it.

I don't understand. I ride with grace, expertise, and confidence everytime I throw a leg over. What's wrong with you guys?

Haynes My job is to monitor Advrider.....NOT

I am on a pc ALL day at work monitoring other PC etc some days are slower than others
