Bitchin. When y'all read that I was looking for suggestions (Y'all did read that part, didncha? Okay, go back and read it again. I'll wait), this was exactly what I was talkin' about! Thanks, Zen.

It'll go in as soon as I puke out a few more installments of my Frozen Nutz report.

Nate,

There's a boatload of awesome RR's here, but it's cool to have an HoF of the best of the best - even at the risk of overlooking many other great ones.

RR's is, IMVHO, the true heart and soul of what ADVRider is. It's what brought me here......

I'll be happy to update (and upkeep) it if people want.

After the whole Dakar craziness gets done, of course.

I think it was a cool concept. Lots of great reports since you started this thread, though.

I agree 150% (which is why I started the thread way back when). Okay -- after the Dakar coverage is done, I'll fire this baby back up. I can think of two dozen right off the top of my head (who can't?).

In the meantime, everyone check out http://RallyRAIDio.net to hear epic stories told by average Joes as they experience them, Live on the Dakar.

(We need a Dakar smilie, BTW...)

Does anyone actually read what a thread is about before dumping their pics in it?

+ 1 on a HoF or likeness that thereof.

There are some incredibly talented and enlightening RR's out there, but many are buried under weeks, months or years of other RR's. (Not to say those are any less entertaining.)

Epic adventures
Not so well traveled destinations
Life altering experiences
Mind changing exposure to other cultures

They are all here.

And deserve a place on the mantle

Its extraordinary how such a cracking idea for a thread has somehow become the dumping ground for all the weirdest shit.
Give credit where credit is due though - if you are gonna post weird shit, what better statement to make than post it in the wrong thread

In any case, you must obviously add
Angola, it's not like they said.

And in the category for best faceplant
Dakar crash

Absolutely! IIRC, Bugfnnuts was missing a day or two from his Regular Guy Does Dakar report. I'll have to take it under advisement whether that's enough to get him an Epic, or Blue Balls entry on that one...

Thanks for staying on this, Nate. The years of Ride Reports chronicled in this forum are the crown jewel of Advrider. IMVHO.
