Hi Jon,

Got your PM. Thanks. Sent you one back.

Anyway, I put a check in the mail to you today.

Can't wait to see how the pucks work!

BTW, sad to say, I'm not a member of the local BMW club. I hear it's a good group of folks though.

Already Got 'Em

Jon-

I wasn't expecting to get the pucks for at least another couple of weeks.

Got them today, super fast shipping.

They mounted right up, spread the clampload, look clean, and because of the slightly larger diameter and thickness, now I don't skin up my fingers everytime I mount my TT Panniers.

Gold Star for these pucks-money well spent on this useful farkle.

If anyone's going to the "Winter Rally" in North Florida (http://www.bmwnef.org) I'll be there. I will have the Pucks on my bike, you can check them out, and I'll bring a few extra sets along.

Hi Jon

The pucks arrived at my house yesterday. They look nice. I'll install them Saturday after I recover my bike from the dealer in Daytona.

Thanks; I'll let you know how they work out once I put them in.

Thanks, Jon...

Got the Pucks and they look great. This is such a simple but brilliant idea! Very nice piece to spread the tightening force evenly.

I wonder how long before Touratech knocks off your slick idea idea?

Will try taking pics at some point and post them.

Jon,

The first iteration of the Puck was great but the new black ones are perfect. They really do make mounting and unmounting of the TT pannier much easier. Thanks again sir!

I believe I was one of the first to purchase and I got the white ones.

I only sold two of the white ones (DRTBYK and you) and will send you a set of the black Pucks free of charge. You will see no functional difference other than the black ones are thicker. If your fingers are large then they help in the ease of securing the hand nut. I ordered the same thickness material as the white but they sent me thicker... rather than wait I changed my CAM code for the difference.

Jon-

Now that we all know the black pucks are considerably faster than the limited production and surely more collectable white ones, will you be marketing different colored power bands?

According to a well respected tuning guru down the bayou, the yellow bands seem to be the ticket in the swamp, but Jon, you'll probably have to figure out which bands work best in other parts of the country.

The material doesn't come in Yeller but for the KLR fans there is Forest Green
The rest of the avalable colors are some form of earthtone... yuck.

Hi Jon!

I know it's been said already, but, your pucks really do the trick! Amazing how such a simple thing makes such a big functional difference.

I'm gonna clue my buddy Scott into them. You'll probably hear from him shortly!

Thanks,

Bill
