Im adding another comment in here because this guy RUSH SHIPPED these to California so I could have them on my bike before I left on my summer trip to Canada!! Awesome-

The Previous owner of the bike had crashed my GS on the left side and the left Zega was a bit tweaked. It never went on very tight because the tightening wheel would bind into the side of the box - these thing totally eliminate the issue. THe boxes fit nice and tight and because of the puicks you can get a bit more leverage on tightening them.... This is the best money I have put into the bike since I last changed the oil. These things are awesome... GET THEM. YOU WONT BE SORRY!

cheers

I only polished the outside of `em.

I always show other Zega owners my pucks.

I just received my pucks...and what can I say that hasn't already been said...VERY NICE!!!

One thing I love about motorcycling...is when someone takes a great product and makes it better. This is definitely one of those instances.

Thanks Jon!!!

Here's what I'm using now on my bike.

First my Puck, then Hand Nut, original Wave Washer, and Nut from hardware store. No need to be a gorilla and super tighten the jam nut either. It seems to be a nice setup.
Use red loctite (I actually used JB Weld) on the other end of the screw rod that mates to the clamping bar (on the outside of the box). This keeps it from unscrewing when you undo the inner nuts.

I'll be at the Barber Vintage Festival in Birmingham, AL (Oct 18-20). We will be riding around NE AL that week but anyone (who by coincidence is also attending) that needs pucks can let me know and I'll bring some.

I have been a little slow lately too.

I had a big tree fall on one of my buildings and I've been re-constructing it over the last two weeks. Also had five large trees taken out of my yard that were a potential threat to my house and shop. Finally, I'm almost done and should be back to normal after the holidays.

I did work you up a set though and they're on the way.

Thanks,
Jon
