Question Twinmax hook up

I've just bought a twinmax and I want to synch the carbs on my R80GS Basic. I've found some good info on the procedure, but I have no idea where to hook up the vacuum hoses on the Bing. It must be so obvious that they haven;t bothered to mention it. Could someone please make it obvious to me as well.
Thanks.

Wink

I have a 1983 R80G/S, and I think the Basic uses the same carb set up.There should be two biege coloured hoses coming out of the air cleaner, between the air cleaner cover and the actual block-towards the rear. These are connected to the carbs(vacuum tubes). Just follow the hoses until you find where they connect to the carbs and pull off that hose and replace with the hose from your Twin-Max.Voila! I hope this is what you were looking 4.

look on the bottom of the carbs, there should be a little metal tit on the bottom of each carb with a vacum cap or a tiny machine screw capping it. If You still have the PAS system, You should shitcan all of it. Easy to do, and The easiest weight you'll ever shave.

JT, thanks for that. I had found this procedure after a search.

3. Hook up the twin max, turn it on and increase sensitivity to max and
adjust the needle to center. You can then turn down the sensitivity back
down all or part way and turn unit off.

It didn't say where to hook it up to . There was no email address for me to ask. I will follow it now that I know where the hoses go.
