QUOTE=crazydrummerdude;19006947]Is there a decent place I could find some engineering drawings/prints of Excelsiors or other inline-4 vintage motorcycle engines? I'd like to do some 3-D modeling at home of a real assembly.. and maybe make some patterns to cast some day down the road.[/QUOTE]
Talk to the old guys here whom ride these bikes. Even going as far as to race across the usa last year.

Thats pretty cool... A buddy of mine used to rip around on a early naked wing with a 4 into 1 header. It had a sound like no other bike I have heard. I was surprised how much abuse it could take , After 3 years of tire smoking hole-shots the driveshaft finally grenaded but the bike had well over 100k miles on it.

I think it's reported that the steering feels a little heavy.

From the Keeneland Concours today, in Lexington, Ky.

Is it just me , or is this patina , "faux-tina ?".
Love me some Merklel either way. Mono -shock 60 years before Yamaha "invented" it.

This Goldie was the big winner in the motorcycle division.

You would never have noticed if he had changed the tire.
