And yet another KLX,

Got any more pics or info on that KDX? There's a '97 in my local paper for $500.

my 2005 XT225

Here is a pic of my new (to me) 2005 XT225.
Long time road rider, just got into dirt. Thought I would start small & light to stay out of trouble - and upgrade to a bigger bike later - but having ridden this in single trail stuff (with lower gearing) I really dont see the need to change bikes.

Don't know if it is just me but your pic didn't come through.

So that means you'll both be on the same bikes ... smart. In looking at the shot of yours, I take it you fitted the KLR 250 front fender for the clearance.

Nope, both Sherpas are ColoWife's bikes. Here's a link explaining ColoWife's love affair with Sherpas. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180843

The Tincup bike does have the KLR250 fender and hand guards, though. Good eye!

I just got a DRZ400E and have just about got it set up. (ColoWife's "new" 6-year-old Sherpa has fewer miles on it, though.) I'll install an Acerbis 4.25 gallon tank and kick starter on the DRZ today (I hope) and Neil Hores is scheduled to set up the suspension. Once the PMB rack arrives, it'll be done.

Hiya Poof!

I used to read your incredible ride reports at S-TN. (Stopped hanging out there about the time the Mad Cows report went online.) Come on out to Colorado and we'll take you on some great rides.

You an honest woman yet?
