The official website is http://www.iomtt.com and the dates for next year are 26th May to 8th June (race week being 2nd to 8th June).
There's an accomodation forum on there, inside the Message Boards section, and you can also try the Isle of Man Dept of Tourism website for hotel and homestay options. I think that they are filling up pretty rapidly, although camp sites are still available. You can also do an accomodation search here. If you're coming by bike (or car etc) then your only option is the Isle of Man Steam Packet ferry service, and they have a special TT Section showing the timetables from the various ports and the current availability (what there is, anyway, as it's pretty much full for race week at the moment, I think). All pre-bookings have to be confirmed in February, I think, so obviously some tickets will become available then as people drop out for whatever reason. If you're coming by air you can fly into the island from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and other cities around the British isles. There is no bike hire available on the island though, due to insurance issues. Go here for an Isle of Man tourism guide, or the government website I listed above. |
