The 1st Annual PBX is getting closer!!!! The bike is back together and I put the new TKC80 on the rear on Saturday.

A couple of us will be doing the Sandy Lane Enduro next weekend, but I might actually try to sneak out this weekend if I get my bike back together. Just re-wiring my lights...nothing to intense.

Just so there is no confusion, this PBX100 ride is not a sanctioned or club event, it's just a few respectable citizens out for a nice Saturday afternoon ride on public forest roads. :)

In light of what is going on, I'd like to give back to ECEA for their work on keeping the Pine Barrens open to our riding.
For our group ride in a few weeks, I'd like to ask if any of you guys would be willing to make a donation that we can send to them to aid in their fight. I know it won't be much, but it's a sign of support and that's what they need.
No worries if you guys don't want to, but if you do, please let me know and I'll make sure your name is included on the letter!

sounds like a good idea. I didn't see anything on the ECEA website about it though.

I guess they are still in the process of setting up a fund?

Hey, Western PA, just north of Pittsburgh in Cranberry Twp. Looking for either a KLR650 or WR250R... probably the latter. My FJR 1300 isn't so good in dirt...

the fjr might be fun with some knobbies!
btw, the wr is a great choice, plenty of them out there too

She'd be a little heavy for single track I think...

She's freaking awesome for sport-touring though.

Been scouring the pages for a used WR... found two but no responses from the sellers?? May have to go new and pony up $5800... ouch.

tough time to find a good used dirt bike, right in the beginning of the season, they usually go very fast.

You could find a nice TE310 for less then that. New, the KTM 350EXC is well worth the $3k more than the WR ($9699 vs $6690). A new TE310 is only $8199.
