I think the sign is misleading...the road is actually very good, but there is one water crossing that is pretty hairy when the spring rains come...also some loose rock on the road as the twisties start as Lockwood Rd heads into the foothills enroute to Frazier Park.

Anyway, it is sure beautiful country. I'm too much of a pussy to ride it right now...WAY too hot out there.

And not far from that one (on a different road, two of several):





Didn't get the sign, but it said something like "vehicles over 10 tons max 5 mph on bridge" IIRC:

No. The bridge in his photo is painted. The Annapolis bridge looks like this
