Buy one down there and then leave it in storage, cause you are going to want to go back.

Todays ride

Weather was decent so got out for a ride in the back roads. Checked out a few new cut overs. No pics but put on close to 100k. Hopefully we see a few more days to ride before winter weather sets in.

I rode the Beemer all of 500 ft to the gas staion. The fuel that was in it smelled like turpentine.

Congratulations on the new bike. Looked like a good deal. I would bleed the brakes, get some fresh brake fluid in there.Betcha the stuff thats in it is pretty gunky from sitting, etc......

Looks good Ron, there is nothing like a new bike in the garage.... You can join up with the Iceman on his next frigid run.

I will try to post a couple of pictures later on in the week.

Going to be a busy one here for a few days....

My new (to me) KLR needs servicing.... fricken doo thing.
The 1967 Honda is going to be the star at the Antique Bike Club tomorrow, so I will have to polish it up.
The HOG heads for winter storage on Wednesday, so it needs to be all buffed up.
The CBR needs to be serviced and winertized. (It's for sale, Backroader Junior will inherit the KLR)
The Yamaha needs to be winterized.
The new BMW will stay at the Dealer.

So nothing like a new bike in the garage LOL.

So I would really like to see a picture of how the CBR gets "winertized" - as it sounds like something the Piffleperson would enjoy helping with...or perhaps you meant to say "whinertized" - with all your kvetching about having to service your "motorcycle harem"...

Posted this on the Winnipeg site also

Looks like Triumph is at it again. http://www.onewheeldrive.net/2011/10...er-and-others/

Took the wraps off a new 1200 shaft drive aimed at the BMW GS / Yamaha Tenere market and a "Steve McQueen" version based on the Bonneville T100 (only 1100 to be sold world wide)

Steve McQueen.....with low pipes and a skid plate? Good luck with that. Build one to look like the bike in The Great Escape, and they might get some nibbles...

OK, you caught me...just have to run it up, throw stabilizer in the tank, take out the battery and make a note in the book to change the oil in the spring....oh ya, and hang a for sale sign on it...I am hoping to bait ZZR_Ron into buying another one...nothing a pair in the shed !!!!
