Square box on side of the pump where the power cable goes in. Look for arcing on the four contact points. They might be worn out. There are two screws for adjusting the cut-in and cut-out pressures. The instructions should be on the bottom of the box lid. If your problems came on suddenly its probably not the pressure settings.
A grain of sand could also be blocking the small pressure sensor hole.

Piston pump or jet pump? Jet pumps can't tolerate any air in the suction side. Check for loose clamps or any 'humps' in any horizontal sections of the suction line. Is your foot valve plugged? Piston pump leathers and valves need to be changed after they get worn out.

If the pump cycles on and off quickly, your pressure tank is water logged. Drain it and pressureize to about 30 psi through the snifter valve which looks like a regular tire valve. You mihght get some air in your water line until the excess air is purged if you put too much air in the tank. Some tanks have air volume control systems and tank bladders, but they can fail.

I've had my share of pump problems over the years too.

I did a few years ago and with the electronic control I have 55-60 psi always and no more pump issues.

Swap Meet

So did anyone go to the swap meet in Thunder Bay last Saturday? I was in town for work and drove by but did not go in as it was later in the afternoon.

Figured anything good was likely gone and they wanted $3 admission so passed.

I hear ya Garth... $3.00 to a pensioner is like $10.00 to a working guy.

Ha ha
It wasn't the 3 bucks (although i do have a distaste for paying admission to buy shit). I was running a bit late and figured that since there was only an hour or so left in the meet, there may not have been a lot of stuff left.

So did anyone go?
