Yup, its great. We'll probably get some more snow, but this is the time of year I can ride my bike and snowmobile on the same day. We still have lots of snow (see Finndian's pic) and the lake ice is still good.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining but I don't recall ever seeing weather like this for our area? I remember riding to a friend's about an hour and a half from home in mid April in '05 or '06 and thinking that was amazing.
Had the DT out for a season opener today. Local gravel roads have some snow covered sections in the shaded areas and the hard packed back roads are thoroughly sand covered but it's nice to be riding again regardless.

Won't be too much ice to break come May Long!

The wife and I went out to Lockport for a Hot Dog and cruzed the River Road. The temps. varied from 17 to 21 today. Fantastic weather, never in 40 years of riding.

Nice weather here too. The ice ruts on the Devon road finaly disappeared after this mornings thunder storm and I went for my first ride of the year. Usually my first ride is mid April, but I'm not complaining.

200 miles of 70 degree fareinheit march 17th riding! unprecidented! Don't know how I'm going to handle the colder weather in May! Lappeman, how could you part with your klr?

My 21 year old son took his first run on the KLR today. Aside from stalling it a few times, he did pretty good. Stayed up right and was still smiling by the time we got home.

i rode to work today . rode in at 2 pm and rode out at 1 am.
LOVE THE 11 HOUR SHIFT ON ST.PADDY'S DAY.
MAKE THAT 12 HOURS I WAS THERE FROM 10 AM TO 11 AM TO DECORATE THE PLACE.

I love beeing self employed. i hope you guys drank plenty today.
i rode my bike because it prevwents me from drinking.

Ha ha, he should enjoy that bike. Got out on the KLRs for a 130 k ride through the back roads yesterday. It was +20 and had to take jackets off when stopped. Today is forecast for +24. Most of the snow (where it matters anyway) is now gone Snow is still continuously patchy in the bush, and the ice is starting to look black in a few places. No matter what the weather brings now I think winter is pretty much done (or at least a good lung shot). YAHOOOO

Got out for a 100km ride yesterday

Plus 23 in Lappe but foggy and 12 in town so I tried to stay on the country backroads. Did stop at Excalibur and make a deal to trade the KLR for a KTM 530

So I'll have some KLR parts for sale if anyone is interested.

Also found that sometime last year they removed the Gorham Fire Tower

Long trips are done at this point, I may throw a 21.5L tank on it for overnighters. I want to haul it to Colorado and Nevada and bomb around the mountain passes and desert for a week or so...just have to make time if I can.
