I waited at the Canadian Carver for quite a bit. I REALLY needed a toothbrush.

I think the ride may not have been as bad, but I c ouldn't find the rain liners for my pants.

I must have been way further ahead than I thought, I got in after 6 sometime.

The guys from the peg should be in that area later tomorrow. I would think they'll end up near the keewenaw tonight.

Just an update on the NoFAR awards. For those of you that were at NorthRider's fall rally you know he does everything in spectacular fashion. Well his arrival at NoFAR was also spectacular. Who would think the last to arrive could clean up and win not one but all the awards for the taking as well as one that was not planned.
He won Slowdown award, Speed award, F@&khead award and a new category that less than 1% of the population qualifies for THE BROKEN SPATULA AWARD.

Riding home through US. 45 minutes on bridge waiting to get in. We were in rain for a short while but Greg came through with the sun again.

I made it home to Winnipeg at 7:30 this evening - 12 hours after leaving Nipigon.

I want to give a big shout-out to Dan, Gretta, Scott, Nancy, Boo, and Akropovic for a most wonderful time this past several days...You folks are amazing... I will be posting my pics on my Picasa pages tomorrow, but will probably not get a chance to do a ride report before I head up north on Wednesday morning...The pics will have to tell the story...I will post a link on this forum once they are up...

I also want to thank Old Fart at Play and Nanabijou for keeping me company on the road to Nipigon... Although this is my 4th season of riding, I am still pretty much a rookie, and I was glad to have your support when the rain began to fall...sorry I couldn't continue on to TBay - but hypothermia was definitely threatening, and I knew I would make it home today no matter where I slept last night...

Funny - today's riding also ended in rain...After a total ride of 3029 kms over the past week, I am soooooooooooo glad to be home...

I too would like to say thank you for an excellent weekend. The food was fantastic as were all the new people I met. I look forward to next year and hope that many of the same can make it.
