Heading to Thunder Bay tomorrow to visit Dad.... going to stay at the KOA.... no rooms in town, apparently there is a convention on....

Got the camping gear packed, looking forward to one more night out, under the stars.....

Happy Thanksgiving to my Canadian friends!

Greg and Ron - congrats on the new grandkids. My granddaughter is nearly 2 and my grandson is due any day - grandkids are truly a blast!

The house in Knife River is complete (phase I anyhow) and is ready for visitors. We had some minor damage from the flooding last summer, but nothing to get worked up about. Sharon and I are up there nearly every weekend. I'm normally hauling crap in the pickup, so I don't have a bike up there, but I would love to see you guys.

Drop me a line if you are going to be in the area - there's always beers in the fridge and Jameson in the cupboard.

A sure sign of winter today. The first sighting of the salt trucks spreading their wonderful vehicle destroying cargo on the highways here this morning

Reminds you why you don't want new vehicles again. At least not ones that get used for the next 6 months.

just got home from WAWA. went to pick up the bike i left with FINNDIAN this summer. great day for a long ride. started off cold and damp, the sun came out at WHITE RIVER and it turned into a good day for a ride.

a huge THANK YOU to FINNDIAN for doing some work on the bike but mostly for picking me up at 3;30 am at the bus depot. Yup, i took the GREYHOUND from thunder bay TO WAWA.

I MISS RIDING ALREADY, IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG WINTER

GORD i owe big time, hope that i can repay next year ( open tab at the madhouse?? or better yet....OPEN TAB AT DOG LAKE ??? )
