This is a shot I took of the old infamous Lions Back Hill climb. It's closed now and you can't realy make out any rubber marks on it from previous use. Go to youtube and type in Lions Back to see some old footage of jeeps climbing it and the one failure that was a web hit when some lady lost her brakes on the way down.

Old Lions Back Climb...the first part of the climb on the little toe area would probably be the size of Baby Lions Back that I climbed

Thursday Nov 8 ride pics......

Nice clean route, no mud holes.....

Nothing too technical except for one steep hill....

no problem on the 250cc bike........

old rail bed, now a roadway......

Little taco bike turned a milestone today......

Looks like the storm might shut down the riding this weekend.

Bet your getting sick of hearing about Moab by now...I'm not

With winter knocking at my door, I still like to look back at the great trip and riding we had there. The terrain held a wide selection of variety, from desert to coloured rocks to lush green mountians. Everyday was something different...providing you rode something different eveyday of course

Waking up every morning to this sight

I went up to the top of one mountain at 8,900 feet. The rocky small vegetation gave way to this...Giant white pines mixed with aspens.

And down on the lowland along the winding Colorado river, there was even a Winery...Castle Creek Winery, where BackRoader spent some time

Hey Rob, is it white there? Just managed to get the KLX away before the winter yesterday. Would have been a tough slug today. Got a couple of inches now and it's coming down again.

Only a light coating, can still see the grass. I think TBay got freezing rain and it's supposed to warm up and rain tonight and tomorrow for a bit. We missed the brunt of the system...I think Atikokan probably got a lot of snow. I guess we'll know when Hekto sends a shot of his bike burried in it

It's supposed to go up to 13C and partly cloudy today in Sudbury. Just eating breakfast and then it's kickstands up!

Last ride of the season today, it's getting put away after the ride. Shit.
