Still have a way to go Brian...but all the tests they have done have turned out well...just have to get the heart valve repaired. Should be in a few weeks.

Sounds like a life change event Ron. Believe it or not sometimes it is the best thing that ever happened to you. Treat it as an opportunity.

Hey Ron, my Dad had his valve replaced last year and recovered quickly and he's in his 70's, so you'll do fine and up and riding in no time! Take care!

Thanks for all the good wishes! They think my valve may be repairable, which means if they fix it, im good forever.

Great to hear that you have some good news with a positive prognosis.
I just went through emergency gall bladder surgery, and didn't even know I had a gal bladder problem untill I ended up in the emergency dept and woke up in the recovery room. Stuff can happen fast.
Makes you thankful for the time you do have and the opportunities to share.
I'm sure things will work out great for you and wish you all the best.

If they are gonna do a valve job make sure they know the proper clearances eh.

My wife had a valve job when she was a kid and it turned out OK. Yours will too. Speedy recovery.

Hey Ron - it sounds like the procedure will be pretty straightforward. My dad received a double bipass operation 8 years ago - and the surgeon essentially told him before hand that it would be a cakewalk. They have it down to an art.

Ron - when the weather improves we need to do a CBR125R group ride out to Sleeping Giant Park.

The little CBR is insured, and ready to go. My weight is down by 20 lbs, so timing is perfect.

Hey - no fair! Losing weight is the best way to free up extra hp from the little CBR!
