Well thanks to my good friend KEL115 who braved the freezing temps and deep snow, we managed, well he managed to get the stub end of the bolt out of the tie rod...much to my relief. So now it's just a matter of ordering a new end and putting it back together...maybe by then it will have warmed up and we can go riding

Good to hear... You Might get it fixed before the spring tie up!

I can't imagine us not have that rod end in stock Rob if you want one sent down.

I do wonder why I wear a heated jacket and gloves on the bike but not on the sled :shrug

Yea, it has been a long 5 years since I was down here. We are taking a break from shoveling snow and doing some great riding. Running 250cc bikes has been a good choice.

Hey FINNDIAN, how does that looonnng track handle on tight trails. Meant more for straight sections and Deep Mountain snows? Do you really notice it compared to a 121 or 136?

Handles surprisingly well actually. It remind me of the big lug snowcross sleds we used to race. 400 lbs and 160 HP with low gearing. Pretty sweet. Your parts are on their way.

You can have it back in a couple of weeks, just sent my driveshaft to Bruno for a little magic, so my winter maintenance is on. Hopefully by mid-feb I can get back on the road.
