Still trying to work out how I'm going to fit, work, trips and biking all in this year Lotto
Rob - we could also take a canoe and come down from the Gowganda way. That might actually be easier. Then again, I just assumed we'd ride there from the south. You bring the KTM, I'll bring the WR. Bring some gear. Even camp overnight. We should be able to get pretty far with the bikes. Would be a day hike if we planned it well.

BTW - that's not Eagle Mountain in northern MN is it?

I might not have enough time to canoe and Ktm isn't set up for carrying lots of stuff, so for me it would be the truck and maybe camper...get there evening, hike next morning and depending on when I get back...head home.

Nope, Eagle mountain here. MN's on my list also though. Too much to do and not enough time...gonna have to quit the job I haven't started yet

We went to ishpatina a few years ago. I was there for the biking and didn't hike up to the tower though. The guys borrowed a boat that was stashed at a lake the road went to and portaged up to the base of the hill.

How'd the 950 handle the Sturgeon River? Long crossing?

It was only a little over knee deep. Pretty good current though. 4x4 trucks were crossing it too

It's not hard to relax down here. One day leads into the next.

Lyle, boat in one pic says Mazunte, that's about 500kms or so south of Mexico City along the Pacific Ocean. Looks like really nice beaches down there!
