I was looking at a Mayan Calendar and it looks like the day after today will be good for riding.

I didn't see the sign. We took it easy and enjoyed the ride ( 40 km/h )

Not Spring yet...

but I saw a bike out in rush hour traffic yesterday. Brave soul, temp hovering around zero with wet roads waiting to turn to ice, salt being slung up on the aluminum parts and corroding them and cages everywhere in a rush to get home after work and not seeing a bike since they don't expect to see one at this time of year. Not my idea of fun

But I am in the process of getting the bikes back ready for Spring when it finally does arrive. Picking up tomorrow a couple of boxes of parts I ordered for the bikes! Have to replace the whole headlight assembly on the 530 as Moab really trashed the innards...shook the hell out of the thing New seat and rear tire...couple of things for the 300 and it will be ready for Hare Scrambles even though I won't be ready for awhile

Looking forward to getting out and riding with you guys again this year and maybe discovering some new areas!

White Rim Trail, Moab...

Finally got around to putting together a short video of my ride on the White Rim Trail in Moab Utah. It was a great ride, albeit very long ride, just over 300kms and I did it in just over 6 and half hours of steady riding. Only stopped for photos. A variety of terrain from desert to hills to canyons. For some reason the video clips didn't splice the way I wanted them but it will have to do for now. Hope you enjoy it...makes me want to get out and do some riding Damn snow

White Rim Trail

Thanks for the vid. I'll likely never ride the trail myself but certainly enjoyed the trip.

Your welcome! I wouldn't say it's a must ride but it's a real nice ride and if you took a bit more time than I did and stopped and smelled the roses, you could still do it in one very long day. I believe if you plan to overnight, you would have to get a camping permit and you can only camp in a few designated areas. I only saw a few people on the whole route, a group of mountain bikers doing the trip in 3 days with a support vehicle...they were flying along! You never know...the opportunity might meet you one day!

Nice video Rob. That just makes me want to go back.
I'm also ready for the snow to go.
