Want to go bigger on the cc's and still be as dirt worthy as the drz.
Looks like I have a little time to look around before riding season.
Sounds like your looking for a Ktm 450 or 530exc, tons of power and very dirt worthy. Little more pricey but worth it. Might have to look Southern Ontario though to find one. Good luck!

Hekto...

Great photos once again Hekto!! We have temps around 35, 36 also...35f though

Really nice day today by our standards, plus 2c, sunny and calm...great day for a ride...and ride we did! 70 miles of Lakes, rivers, trails and once again I did damage to the sled guess I'll never learn! Too hot into a corner on the trail and slid across into the bank on the other side and rolled the sled It tried to rip my left foot off in the process but all is well...

Ya, they are Ron! But what else is there to do in the winter?

How are you doing Ron? Getting better I hope! Any word on when you'll be ready for the biking season?

Yes I've seen that thread. It didn't scare me away but made me think I would want one of the newer models.

We are having a good time. You need to ride down this way sometime. It seems daunting but is pretty simple actually

If this forecast bears any resemblance to what the weather will actually look like for this upcoming weekend, I'm taking one of my bikes out.

If that weather is correct, I may try a short ride on the KLX, but I'll have to get the cold blooded bitch to start first!

You know Ron, 2whlrider has a KLX 250 and I recall he called it something similar as well when we were heading out for our first ride in Moab last fall.

2 up and running

i got both my KTM and one of the TWINS running yesterday.
KTM started on the third push of the button, i did not have it on a charger all winter.
the TWIN took a bit longer but also never hooked up during the winter.
i guess my garage is not as cold as i think, good to know because when i get that BMW HP2 ENDURO I'm pretty sure that's where I'll be living.

OFAP's 1/8" drilled hole in the airbox trick, and one shot of starter fluid in it!

Then it always goes!

Just tell her you are going to take up 4WD trucks as a hobby...the bikes will seem cheap in comparison!

Ron...you must be pretty much back to your old self? Back at the mine yet, or just back on cold blooded bitches?

Not back to my old self...I think that is going to take quite a while. This was pretty serious stuff!

Near the final stages of getting the RZ ready for a test fire.... might make to the end of the driveway and back by the weekend. supposed to go above 0C.
A little two stroke smoke for the bitchy neighbours....
