Hmmm...I got 77MPG on yesterday's ride, not too bad considering we were running into some fairly heavy headwinds at times. (KLX250S)

Good day of backroads and even slab rides in the black hills. Weather is a bit hot but bearable. So many roads we got a little turned around and ended up in Wyoming but a great adventure none the less

Leaving very shortly, for the second time...just picked up a new water pump gasket from Excalibur this morning...waiting for the windscreen deflector that was supposed to arrive yesterday by UPS Ya, I know but no choice in shipping methods. Other than that, the bike is loaded and ready

Probably one of the most relaxed day of riding In a long time but turned out great. Rain overnight but then cleared tone at perfect riding conditions. Sunny light breeze and plus 24. Went out with Paul's uncle and did the "wildlife loop", mount Coolidge lookout and then up through the needles highway. Spectacular scenery and great roads. All paved today. It's getting sunny and hot so back at camp for miller time!

Hey Rob - I share your UPS woes. I was supposed to pick up a new laptop today at Rydens. Turns out - it was likely stolen before it even left Duluth on the truck. Another one was shipped and is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Hope this one makes it.

Well, at least you found out what happened to it! A few years ago, they talked about putting an ID code into the main processors on laptops. Guess now we know why! (on the bright side, at least D will be off tomorrow to keep you company for the drive down)

I was watching that bike and was actually considering going in and working out a trade on my 800. My loss your gain, good to see you pulled the trigger and let the dust out if your wallet. You will not be disappointed.
