That is a very cool story! I don't know how many "wish I had never sold it" stories we all have.

Cheers, Todd
Will see you there! There is WIFI at MacDonalds near the rally site, so stay in touch. If I remember to bring my Canadian Flag, it will be attached to the tent...

Brokentoof and Michelle stayed here last night.

They took me out for dinner at the Madhouse (thanks again) and off to Kangas for breakfast this morning, then saw them on their merry way, a little late. (Man, can Oliver eat!!)

The lateness may have been due the dedicated imbibing of single malt Scotch until midnight or so. Jimtoe would have been proud!!

No pictures, I just plain forgot.

Gord the tenting area (behind the building also) is a large grassy area with a nice hilltop breeze & incredible views of Superior. There are no trees in that zone, but you may find fencing or other structure for a hammock. There is the ski lift structures nearby with wooded area also nearby. I think if you had to find something to tie it to, you would, but it may be in an odd place, or away from the other tenters.
(ps add that new bike to your sig list....)

You sure do know how to make a man jealous. I do believe a overnight ( over bottle ) stay is in order. As soon as my Reno house is finished I am coming to refresh your memory on how to really take good care of single malt.

nice! You are going to love that bike. They need a better "new bike picture place" there or at least clean the old pallets and junk up..

I am betting WW sells as many bikes to NWO as in the city

I should be safe. Reno houses are never "finished"!

Congratulations BenWR!

Carl: Yep this thread has been around for a while...pretty much is as old as the "Canada" part of the forum. It used to be
that Alaska and Canada were merged into one. THAT got pretty confusing!!

Benwr bike pick up pic made me go back and see what our Bike Pick up pics were like. No old pallets anyway. We had to borrow a trailer to get them home.

Got the BMWs fitted on my trailer yesterday. Will be towing them somewhere warmer for a ride in late September / early October. Now have over 44,000 k on the KLR and 38,000 on the BMW. Both of my wife's bikes are in the 20,000 range.

Should have remembered, Garth, I just stopped there for gas a few days ago. And that gas stop is right next to a Tim Hortons as well.
