Yep, I even commented on the Guzzi. I believe it was when we stopped at Middle Falls. (it was DR650 and a BMW650)

This week I am going to make a few calls and maybe if someone is heading north from pickle I could get it pre stashed for me. I have been looking at other tank options for my bike but the cheapest reasonable columed one is over 600 plus shipping from denmark for 10 litres, the TT option is around 1100.
A guy told me that some folks are using the liners out a
of Starbucks 10 cup boxes to carry gas. He had 2 of them and said they had never leaked and guys were actually carrying them in back packd

Once used the 4 litre wine bag you get in those el'cheapo French Cross boxes to float gear across a river then filled it with fuel for backup.

Necessity is the mother

VBR : keep the photos coming.
You'll enjoy the trials, its a few notches below the FIM World Rounds that were held there on Spirit Mountain, but far above what us mere mortals can do on two wheels. I really wish I was able to be there for the rally, I was looking at the booklet from the VBR 5 years ago, and it really made me wish I was there again.

Hey Gumby

Hey Gumby how are things.
North road to the mine is not too bad, grader works it reasonably regular. From Mine turn off to Windigo is not bad but has some wash board spots but nothing too serious.
Distance from the Frontier Store to the end of the dock is 240 kilometres.
Good old KLR can do it, I went ups nd back with no issues but I also have an IMS tank.
PM with your plans, if your going solo and looking for company I may consider going for the ride, I only did it 19 times last winter. hahaha
Take care.
